If you are stressed, consider somatic massage or somatic coaching and know that your body has a whole set of inbuilt ways to help you manage your inner states.

This is what embodiment means for me - to feel fully alive and present in my body.

I'm doing what I really enjoy doing most at the moment, and that may change, which is to immerse myself in nature, to connect with nature, and so to connect with myself; down time from the busyness of life, and to just throw myself literally into the reservoir and just feel alive, present, at one with myself.

It affords me the opportunity

  • to clear my head
  • to soothe and calm my emotions
  • to feel immersed and grounded and present
  • to feel my body, to feel connected with my body.

We can get so disconnected from ourselves with all the electronics and the business of life, of course.

So whatever floats your boat, whatever inspires you and enables you to feel expansive and alive and grounded at the same time - that for me is embodiment.

It affords me that opportunity to feel at one with myself, to feel aligned in my body, in my mind, in my spirit, doing what I love to do, finding my way back to what moves me and what fulfils, nurtures and nourishes me. That for me is embodiment.

I wish you to find whatever works for you and enables you that beautiful opportunity to get to get embodied within yourself as well.
