This is a great short video explaining about trauma, chronic stress and the impact upon our lives.

This is a great short video explaining about trauma, chronic stress and the impact upon our lives.

This explains how trauma is not an event that happened to us, however how we respond to the event that happened to us. It is our inner experience of the event.

Trauma Discharge Therapy is underpinned by Dr Stephan Porges’ Polyvagal theory and Attachment Theory outlined in this video.

This treatment I offer can support you to release trauma at source from the body as well as change your automatic responses to perceived threats, so that you can start to live your life in the present, rather than based upon a historical need for protection.

Healing from trauma and chronic stress is possible, through coregulation and learning to feel safe again. You can begin to feel well, resilient and empowered to live your life now.

Trauma Discharge Therapy is a safe and powerful blend of massage, psychology and neuroscience, which reduces the amount of trauma imprinted in our nervous system and supports it to return to its normal state of healthy self regulation.

There is no need to share details of your traumas which can sometimes be retriggering and upsetting. Instead, Trauma Discharge Therapy is a gentle and pleasant experience using touch and body movements that are trauma informed, safe and soothing.
