Breathing well and deeply is crucial to our wellbeing and offer the easiest and best antidote to stress.


If we do little else about our stress levels, learning how to breathe properly and into the belly can improve our lives significantly! We get to:


·       change our physiology for the better – from the stress state to the relaxation state


·       reduce our anxiety, depression, fear states


·       lower our aches, pain and tension


·       clear our bodies of inflammation


·       improve our emotions and so potentially our choices in life


·       nourish all our organs and so improve our internal working systems


·       raise our immunity


·       improve our sleep, digestion, skin


·       extend our life, really!



We can break the cycle of stress in the short term, reverse all the ill effects of stress, and extend our lives in the longer term through reducing allostatic load in our bodies.
