If you are stressed, consider somatic massage or somatic coaching and know that your body has a whole set of inbuilt ways to help you manage your inner states.

Come home to the body. No matter where life takes us, the body is our truest home.

It is so easy to get wrenched out of our bodies and into the whirlwind of our minds.

It is our minds that robs us of peace if we allow it to take over with a scattered brain from overthinking. It can launch us into anxiety and stress.

If we simply remember to drop into our bodies -

  • breathe deeply into our bellies
  • exhale for longer taking a few minutes to do this
  • shutting down any distractions as we close our eyes and go within

We can feel instantly better, soothed, grounded;  that we have agency once again, that we are captains of our own ship.

So when you start to feel lost at sea in the busyness of your mind and from all the external distractions of life, recall upon this simple practice and return home to yourself.
