VIDEO: Ways we can abandon ourselves emotionally

We can get caught up in the dramas of life, we can get caught up in gossip, in the chatter, in the news, and get emotionally riled by all of that and that is when we’re in a state of feeling overwhelm emotionally and feeling we are anxious.


We get caught up in all the dramas and feel unable then to have that equilibrium, that calmness about us and feeling at peace with ourselves. We stress out our bodies, minds, spirits, and emotionally we are discombobulated.



We can feel quite fragmented and all over the place and we’re behoven in that situation to rein it in, to protect our emotions - our sensitive, precious emotions, to cool them down, to bring them in, to stop the distraction and feeling that we have to be involved in everything that’s going on, watching the news persistently for instance, getting caught up in other people’s lives and dramas, watching soap operas - these are all ways that rev up our system, that stress us out and that emotionally can create overwhelm.
